French dressing or vinaigrette is a fairly basic dressing that’s so easy to make. It’s very healthy and perfect for your salads. Yet people keep buying overpriced products processed with unhealthy ingredients. You can make this in a few minutes and never need to buy it again. Traditionally it’s three parts oil to one part acid, I think it’s too much oil, I like mine with a little more tang. Therefore I use one third acid to two thirds oil and for me that’s perfect. When serving, simply place the dressing on the bottom of the bowl, then toss just before serving this way the acid won’t wilt the lettuce leaves.
