This easy to make sauce can be made in advance, simply add to your seafood or meats stirfries. It’s packed with flavour and stores well in the fridge. Handy when you’re out of time and want to make a quick and healthy ten minute meal.
Chop lemon grass very finely.
Chop the shallot finely.
Crush the garlic and chop finely.
In a hot saucepan on .
stove add grapeseed oil.
Add shallot.
Add garlic and let them sweat a little.
Add oyster sauce.
Add tomato paste.
Add 1/2 cup of water and let sauce simmer on low heat.
Grate and add the ginger.
Add the lemon grass.
Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Ready to use or pour in container and refrigerate once cooled.
You can strain it if you prefer a smoother sauce.
Works well on seafood and meats.
