The easiest way to make icecream without dairy, it taste incredible, kids love it and it’s hard to believe that it’s made only with fruit. You’ll need a good food processor.
Peel bananas, cut into 6 pieces and add to freezer bag. Place in freezer.
Remove stems from strawberries, wash, add to freezer bag. Place in freezer.
Once frozen, remove from freezer, empty contents into a food processor using a blade attachment.
Add the dates (this depends on the sweetness of your bananas and strawberries).
Blitz ingredients for 1 minute or until very smooth.
Serve and eat immediately. (once made, this ice-cream cannot be frozen)
You can buy ready frozen strawberries or assorted berries instead of fresh.
You cannot freeze it, once made it has to be eaten, if you do freeze it, it will have to be processed again.
Strawberries contain different levels of sugar, if very sweet, you may need to add less dates or even none at all.
